I created this blog with the full intent on making it 100% shoujo. However as the years passed the blog has evolved into more of my anime journal than an actual appreciation blog. So instead of just Shoujo you will see many current anime here, shounen and shoujo alike.
I will still make it a point to TRY to have at lease one shoujo or romantic anime a season, but really I’m going to watch whatever I think has potential.
I would change my name, but I’m really fond of it at this point and the true nature of this blog has not changed. I still focus on the ladies of anime, just from many different anime. There are “shoujo” in every anime. =)

My name in real life is Yvonne. I am now 22 years old and Married. I have been taking a break from college for about a year now, but plan on going back this year. As of June 2012 I am officially moved out of my parents house which is a big step for me. Me and My husband live alone and we now reside in Michigan! (I was born and raised in California Bay Area)
I’ve been into anime and manga since I was in elementary school. My Aunt had a friend who worked at Tokyo Pop and gave her free manga to read. Since my aunty had no use for this “manga” she decided to give the volumes to me. One of them was Love Hina and the other was Tokyo Mew Mew.
I fell in love with Tokyo Mew Mew right away, being in elementary school. Two months later I had all of the volumes of Tokyo Mew Mew, bought Pretear dvds, and learned how to watch anime on the net.
To date I have watched hundreds, if not thousands of anime. I have read almost every type of manga, from Shoujo to Shounen and everything in between. I have a little database inside my head that I can access, and even though I might not remember every detail of an anime I watched years ago, I can still reference it.
So I am a weird nerd. =) I love meeting new people and talking about anime and stuff, so if you took the time to read this here is my contact information!
